Moving Forward
Linear thinking looks at life in a linear way. It sees moments strung together in a straight
line, thereby giving us a workable hypothesis of cause and effects. But there is another, a
global sight, so to speak. It looks at the entire web of life with its criss-crossing currents
that interact with each other in a complex and non-linear way. The Space-Time
configuration itself changes as there are many interlocked matrices which support objects
in Space and through which the Spirit of Time moves, creating events for our experience.
Therefore any effort to reduce creation and life itself to an over-simplified formula is bound
to stare back at us testifying to our ignorance.
Perhaps it is an intuitive recognition of this truth that is leading Science itself to look for
multi-factorial causes rather than singular ones. In the field of medicine, it is becoming
increasingly clear that the traditional cause-effect relation is an over-simplification of a
rather complex process. Diseases develop in a matrix wherein social, psychological,
physical, biological and spiritual as well as occult forces act. The last have yet to be officially
recognised due to the mystical aura associated with them. But in fact the occult is nothing
else but the realm of unseen forces not felt by our normal senses. Logically, creation should
be abounding in the occult. It is we who experience existence in a limited way. As to the
spiritual, it is mostly paid lip-service or at best clubbed under the general rubric of
psychological.
Yet, the day is not far when we shall see these various strands weaving the warp and woof
of our life. We shall then be closer to the truth of things and know and embrace life in its
totality.
