Moving Forward
We live in stormy times. The storm is alarming no doubt but when it abates, as all storms
must do, they leave not just a trail of destruction but also a massive change of fixed
positions, a shift, a dislocation and a push beyond the accustomed comfort-zones.
Who or what shall survive the storm and drift? Not the comfort seeking man. Not those
who live by fear and suspicion. To live in times as these, one needs the soul of a hero
who fears nothing, who can keep his calm in the face of storms, who is ready to take the
challenges of life and forge ahead with courage as his companion and faith as his guide.
For it is indeed the hour of the unexpected, the hour of giant leaps or a shrinking back
and sliding down. It is the moment of our tryst with destiny, the great possibility of
entering the doors of a new and luminous future and changing the fixed fronts of Fate.
It is indeed the Hour of God. It is the moment for those who are ready to listen to God
not only in the still small voice within but also in the blare of the trumpets and drift of
the storm winds.
It is indeed the Hour of God whence the Divine flings open every door and rushes upon
the world as torrential rains that purify and the lightnings that awaken the asleep. To one
who can thus perceive God in everything, this hour is a great blessing. But to the fearful
it is a torment and a struggle.
It is indeed the Hour of God.
