Abstract
Adolescence is a time of transition from childhood to youth. Like all other times of transition,
adolescence is a period of uncertainty and of growth. It may either open the doors to several
possibilities in us or else it can demolish our hopes. This article (part of a series) is meant to
help navigate through this often-difficult transition.
