Moving Forward
Humanity is going through a phase of intense churning, if not an upheaval. On the
surface we see it as a crisis of events and circumstances that are shaking the nations
and challenging our established notions and self-view and world-view. At the same
time, it is pushing us through a narrow gorge in time, wherein we need to challenge our
presumptions and make decisive choices about our individual and collective future.
Such periods come from time to time when our old bases and comfort-zones are shaken
and Mother Earth experiences labour pains for a new birth. Each such pang brings a new
creation, waiting within the womb of humanity, a step closer to actual manifestation.
Though on the surface of things, the choice seems to be between various outer options,
the real choice is the inner basis which itself depends upon the self-view and world-
view with which we look at ourselves and creation. It is not just a new conception or
even a new way of life but a new consciousness that awaits our discovery and its hour of
manifestation.
Out of the animal we rose into the mental man. Now, out of the candle flares of our
mind, we must rise to the full orb of a spiritual light from a greater sun of Truth and its
iridescent rays.
