Reversal of Consciousness: What does it Mean?

Abstract
In Integral Yoga parlance, we often come across phrases such as — ‘reversal of consciousness’, a
‘new consciousness’, ‘transformation of nature’. What are these phrases hinting towards? How
does one practically relate with these phrases in one’s present life? Are there any simple ways to
approach and understand what these phrases might be hinting at?
This article explores the very same, through examples which we encounter in ourselves, in our life,
so that these appear more approachable, and not a far-fetched goal not meant for us.
