Reversal of Consciousness: What does it Mean?

        Dr. Monica Gulati

        Abstract
In Integral Yoga parlance, we often come across phrases such as — ‘reversal of consciousness’, a
‘new consciousness’, ‘transformation of nature’. What are these phrases hinting towards? How
does one practically relate with these phrases in one’s present life? Are there any simple ways to
approach and understand what these phrases might be hinting at?
This article explores the very same, through examples which we encounter in ourselves, in our life,
so that these appear more approachable, and not a far-fetched goal not meant for us.

fathom. Like the words are in front of you,
and you don’t know what they mean. You
can’t connect with them. But slowly as you
put in the right effort and persevere, you
begin with understanding one letter, then one
word, then gain a bit of confidence and can
venture deeper if you have the inclination.
