Exploring Endurance: a Process in the Body for Transcending a
        Weakness

        Dr. Monica Gulati

        Abstract
There are times when we are ready to transcend a weakness, an addiction, an imperfection,
which so far in our life we have followed, satisfied but now it brings more and more disturbance,
suffering, rather than any lasting satisfaction, which in reality was never there. When we are ready
somewhere in our being to let go of such a weakness, then it means, some wisdom has already
arisen. Using this little light of wisdom as a firm support, as the ground, we can now work upon
rising above the weakness completely, whenever it raises its head. The process needs to be done
in the body. The article explores and identifies endurance as the key process in transcending a
        weakness.

yielding any higher good, attachment to

addictions like social media and inability to
be alone, inability to be our own best friend.
Usually, we turn to external things to satisfy
that restless urge, which arises when the
weakness shows itself up — like taking
that substance to satisfy the urge, spending
